Cucine
Banco

An oldfashioned name for a contemporary kitchen.
Banco, desk. School desk, work desk… The idea is the same, a big table, equipped with everything necessary for inventing new shapes and modelling one’s own individual world, in the kitchen.
Banco, by Luca Meda, is minimal, comfortable and functional. It consists of a solid metal structure in shiny aluminium which supports the suspended containers. A single top houses the hobs, which are independent plates, and the dishwasher, without interrupting its unity. A larder wall houses all the appliances. The doors are gloss lacquered, the handle in aluminium and lacquered glass. The wall unit Futura has a specially patented upwards opening mechanism along the vertical edges.
According to Le Corbusier, “the home must be designed like a car, in a precise and rational manner”. Architecture for better living, for everyone.
